One of your group companies, ClearlyRated is hiring for Software Engineer.
What You’ll Accomplish:
- Contribute to the development of our internal and external facing web applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback, and help foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance our technical stack and development processes.
- Help to troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the entire application stack, providing timely resolutions and driving continuous improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year(s) track record as an engineer, with a focus on web application development.
- Hands-on experience with Java programming and a core understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Experience and understanding in frontend development.
- Familiarity in database design, optimization, and querying using MySQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
