One of your group companies, ClearlyRated is hiring for Senior Software Engineer.
What You’ll Accomplish:
- Help lead the design and development of web applications and their integrations from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Utilize your experience with Java to extend our integrations into additional systems of record and CRM’s by building server-side components that integrate with our frontend technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance our technical stack and development processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the entire application stack, providing timely resolutions and driving continuous improvements.
- Participate in architectural discussions, contribute to technical decision-making, and champion engineering best practices within the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of proven track record as an engineer, with a focus on web application development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java programming and a deep understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Proficiency in frontend development using Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in database design, optimization, and querying using MySQL.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, including indexing, search capabilities, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
