One of your group companies, ClearlyRated is hiring for Senior QA Automation Engineer.
What You’ll Accomplish:
- Maintain existing automated tests written using Selenium WebDriver and Java to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to define testing strategies, identify test cases, and prioritize testing efforts.
- Participate in requirements analysis and design discussions to ensure testability and efficient test coverage of new features and enhancements.
- Execute automated test suites and report test results, clearly documenting defects and their reproduction steps.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects, communicate findings, and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Monitor and analyze automated test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in test automation methodologies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer who has been in charge of the design and development of an automated test infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as contribute within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with other testing tools, load testing, performance testing, and security testing is a plus.
