About the role: As a fast-growing private equity firm, we are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager. The Finance and Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day financial and operational activities of all programs, including human resources administration, finance administrative activities, and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
● Ensure day-to-day accounting functions are understood and followed properly in QuickBooks, including regular field cash verification, cash/bank reconciliation, monthly cash books closing, advances reconciliation, and AR/AP accounts management.
● Collect cash forecasts from all departments and update cash flow sheet in a timely manner.
● Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
● Prepare and maintain customer contract tracker and update ARR sheet.
● Develop financial policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal control.
● Contribute to the development of proposals with regards to budgeting in cooperation with the Program team and provide recommendations for budget realignments as required.
● Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
● Review and reconcile financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
● Providing guidance and support to staff on financial operations matters, promoting professional development and growth.
● Liaise with internal audit to support timely preparation of audit, sharing of findings and implementation of recommendations.

Operational Management
● Overall day-to-day operational responsibility for all portfolio companies ensuring the team is adequately staffed and meeting SLA commitments.
● Manage employee and company insurance.
● Managed all company subscriptions, overseeing user and license allocation to optimize costs and eliminate unused licenses across platforms such as Aspose, Atlassian Jira, GitLab, TestRail, Slack, Zoom, Vanta, DocuSign, Hubspot, Zendesk, and others.
● Participate in the hiring process, helping to build and grow a strong team of support engineers through onboarding and training. (tracking onboarding / Offboarding checklist).
● Prepare SOC, HIPPA and company insurance audit reports.
● Run and handle US payroll, and its related tax compliance.
● Staff travel booking assistance and event management.
● Handle escalations by diving deep into the problem.

Staff Management & Capacity Building
● Support the development and implementation of financial management capacity building for all team members.
● Advocate and plan for professional development for all team members.

Qualifications and experience:
● A minimum qualification of CA with a 5+ years of work experience IND-US & IFRS knowledge preferred.
● Extensive experience in working with computerized accounting systems, including but not limited to Quickbooks and MS Excel.
